TIAA-CREF Retirement Goal Evaluator

This retirement calculator is sponsored by Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association - College Retirement Equities Fund.  It is oriented to teachers and public sector employees that have a pension plan as part of their employment benefits.  I would not use this calculator if you are not a teacher.

This calculator appears to be a sales tool more than a legitimate retirement calculator.  The fact that the preloaded percentage of pre-retirement income is 80% starts the goal for retirement income very high.
