The T Rowe Price Retirement Calculator appears to be a sales tool more than a true calculator.  It asks seven questions and then gives you the results.

This calculator is misleading since question number 4 (Retirement Assets) is only requesting tax deferred assets, but you must click the link by the question to discover this fact.  Question number five (Monthly Income Goal) is also misleading since it is asking for only the income expected from the investments entered in question number 4.  It is not asking for income from pensions, social security, or other outside sources.

Unless you take time to read the fine print on this calculator, the results will be extremely inaccurate.
